Filing and following up without being in India
A complaint can be filed on the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal (1930 / cybercrime.gov.in) from anywhere, but the follow-up — pushing the investigating officer, moving an application before the Magistrate, tracing where funds moved next — needs someone physically able to do that in Gurugram.
