Gurugram doesn't have one single "cyber crime police station" — it has three, split by zone, alongside the district-level cyber cell that coordinates with banks and the national portal. Knowing which one covers your case (and when you don't actually need to visit any of them) saves a lot of wasted trips.

The three cyber police stations in Gurugram

Gurugram Police operates cyber police stations across its East, West, and South zones:

  • Cyber Police Station (East) — The Icon, 22 Horizon Drive, opposite Two Horizon Center, Harizan Colony, DLF Phase 5, Sector 43, Gurugram, Haryana 122002.
  • Cyber Police Station (West) — House No. 1053C, Sector 22 Road, near Rotary Public School, Palam Vihar Extension, Gurugram, Haryana 122022.
  • Cyber Police Station (South) — IREO Campus, opposite Grand Arch, Alahawas, Sector 59, Gurugram, Haryana 122102.

Which one has jurisdiction over your complaint generally depends on where the transaction, victim, or accused is located, similar to how jurisdiction works for any other FIR filed in Gurugram. In practice, most financial fraud complaints are first logged through the national portal rather than by physically choosing a station.

District Cyber Crime Cell (DCP Cyber office)

Separate from the three police stations that register FIRs, the district Cyber Crime Cell coordinates the bank-facing side of fraud response — sending freeze requests to banks and following up when they don't act quickly. It can be reached at:

  • Email: dcpcrime.grg@hry.nic.in
  • Landline: 0124-2311033

Where to actually start: the 1930 helpline and the national portal

For financial fraud specifically — UPI scams, unauthorised card transactions, fake investment platforms — the fastest route is not walking into a police station at all. It's calling 1930, the national cybercrime helpline, and filing on cybercrime.gov.in the same day. This triggers the freeze-request process with banks directly and generates the complaint number that becomes the backbone of any FIR or follow-up filed later at a physical station. We cover this process in more depth in our guide on recovering money lost to UPI fraud in Gurgaon.

When you do need to visit a station in person

  • Non-financial cybercrime — hacking, cyberstalking, cyberbullying, defamation, identity theft, or morphed photos — where there's no transaction for a bank freeze to act on.
  • Escalation cases where the online complaint hasn't moved and a formal FIR needs to be registered and actively investigated.
  • Cases where the fraud is large enough or organised enough that police involvement beyond the automated bank-freeze process is needed — for instance where the fraud overlaps with wider cheating and fraud under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.

If your account gets frozen instead of the fraudster's

A common and frustrating scenario: your own account is frozen because it briefly received funds connected to someone else's fraud complaint, even though you did nothing wrong. That's a different process, and going to the wrong cyber police station or waiting on the bank alone often wastes time. See our guides on getting a frozen account unfrozen and our account unfreeze practice page for the steps that actually move it forward.

What to bring if you're filing in person

  • Transaction ID, screenshots, and bank statements showing the disputed transaction
  • The complaint number and acknowledgment from cybercrime.gov.in, if already filed
  • ID proof and a written account of the incident with dates and amounts

A quick note on accuracy

Police station locations, contact numbers, and jurisdictional boundaries do get updated by Gurugram Police from time to time. For the most current details before visiting, it's worth cross-checking with the Gurugram Police website or calling ahead, and for larger or more complex frauds, involving a cyber crime lawyer early tends to save more time than visiting multiple stations in person.
